Tiger Watch 2009 – Uchitel Isn’t The Only One? Oh Crap…

December 2, 2009

When Tiger crashed his Cadillac in to a tree, the privacy he had enjoyed came to a crashing halt too, and in its place rose a level of public scrutiny we haven’t seen since Kobe raped a white girl in 2003. The Tiger Woods fiasco has gone official after the greatest golfer that ever lived claimed that he was not perfect, and that he regrets certain “transgressions” that have affected and hurt his family.

Tiger has chosen to do the smart thing and keep as much as he can behind closed doors, but that’s only half the battle as the wood work is leaking out on this story and people just can’t get enough of it.

The main player in all of this is Rachel Uchitel, the high-end club manager who was seen photographed with Woods at New York City’s Tao Nightclub recently. Though she’s teamed up with a celebrity power lawyer to defend her case, she’s vehemently denied the allegations. The chink in her armor is that she’s been linked to other high profile athletes like Derek Jeter and A-Rod.

The rub here, however, is that neither of those guy are married. And besides, those allegations weren’t substantiated either and we all know that A-Rod just can’t resister hookers.

Yet, Ms. Uchitel isn’t the only mistress wanting a piece of the spotlight. In fact, Uchitel has shunned interviews and information requests from the media so she doesn’t even want this kind of attention at her. There are two other harlots that are crawling out of the shadows to tell-all for the right price.

The first is Jaimee Grubs, a cocktail waitress from Los Angeles, who claims that she had a “lengthy affair” with Tiger and also says she has all the sexy evidence to prove it. Think it’s just a ploy for attention and quick cash? You’re probably right. Jaimee Grubbs was an official “nobody” until now.

Another maybe-mistress happens to be the very much unknown Kalika Moquin, a Vegas nightclub promoter who has been connected to a “romantic relationship” with Tiger. The media’s trying to get the juicy details out of her, but her lips are sealed. She said that, “It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other” and that has only fueled the speculation train surrounding Tiger Watch 2009.

Have we seen the last of Tiger’s exploits? I hate kicking a dead horse when it’s being picked at by so many vultures, but if a guy slips once then I can forgive him. If he’s hitting the ladies like he’s hitting the links, however, that’s a big “no-no”.

One thing I know for certain is that Tiger’s father would have died of a heart attack when this news broke if he was still alive, and that’s a relationship that Tiger would never be able to lose. Should’ve kept that in mind when he was having trouble keeping his 9-iron in the bag.

Tiger Woods’ Voicemail to Jamie Grubbs

December 2, 2009

If you thought this whole Tiger Woods story was old news, think again. In another shocking turn of events, a voicemail has surfaced that was apparently left on Jamie Grubbs’ phone asking her to “please take your name off your phone, my wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that and what do you call it, just have it as a number on the voice mail, just have it as your telephone number. That’s it, ok? You have to do this for me, its huge”.

Here is the audio proof

This is going to be the smoking gun that will lead to a public admission of infidelity, mark my words.

Next up for Woods is going to be an appearance on Larry King with his family, with him crying and telling the world that he’s sorry and not perfect. His wife will forgive him but it will take a serious rock to do so, AKA the Kobe treatment.

Stay tuned as BetOnline is always on top of the breaking news and will no doubt have odds up on the future of Tiger as this story unfolds.

NHL Saturday Night Preview – Best Betting Games

December 2, 2009

NHL Weekend Preview

In a weekend packed with wagering options, make sure NHL betting is on your to-do list. There is a ton of action on Saturday, with some of the league’s most exciting teams hitting the ice. Check out this Saturday’s most intriguing matchups . . .

Ottawa Senators at Montreal Canadiens

The Senators will be coming off a home game with the Tampa Bay Lightning before making the trip east to Montreal. Ottawa is off to a solid start despite the lack of offense. The Sens are scoring just over two goals a game and had the NHL’s worst power play at just 6.7 percent (1-for-15) heading into Thursday night. Head coach Cory Clouston had the team focusing on special teams earlier this week and told the media he’s tried to simplify the offensive sets to help get more shots on goal. There’s also no doubt the power play is missing the aggressive attack of Dany Heatley, who was dealt to San Jose last month.

The Habs have scoring issues of their own, making this a smart UNDER play by NHL handicapping standards. Montreal is averaging only 2.5 goals per game and will be coming off a home game against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. The Canadiens’ lineup has been slowed by injuries, hurting the team’s chemistry. Coach Jacques Martin has juggled his forward lines and power play unit, trying to get some offense from all his new faces. On top of the line moves Montreal must stiffen up on the penalty kill, as they were holding off just over 68 percent of opponents’ power plays this season prior to facing the Avs.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Pittsburgh Penguins

The Lighting will make the trip to Pittsburgh following their game in Ottawa on Thursday. Tampa Bay sat atop the underachieving Southeast Division with just a 2-1-2 record before facing the Sens. They’d managed to snap their winless streak with back-to-back victories before hitting the road. Tampa Bay is getting great production from its top line of Steve Stamkos, Martin St. Louis, and Ryan Malone, which had produced 11 of the team’s 15 goals this season. The problem is the letdown when that trio isn’t on the ice. Coach Rick Tocchet told reporters the team needs more from guys like Vincent Lecavalier, Alex Tanguay, and Stephane Veilleux.

So much for a Stanley Cup hangover. The Penguins know they have a target on their backs this season and have been playing with the same desperation that got them into the postseason and eventually fueled their championship run. Pittsburgh has a few days to rest heading into the weekend. That rest will come in handy for top defenseman Sergei Gonchar, who has been fighting a cold since training camp. He has five points through the first seven games of the season – that’s as many as star center Sidney Crosby has picked up. The Penguins have played UNDER the betting total in both of their last two contests.
