Green Bay Packers (2-1 SU, 2-1 ATS, 3-0 O/U)
The Packers have won two straight preseason games and looked downright fantastic in spanking the Indianapolis Colts 59-24 last Thursday night.
Green Bay has scored an NFL-best 110 points and is averaging a whopping 36.7 points per game while allowing 25.0 points per contest defensively.
NFL gamblers may not see starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers tonight and if they do, it will be on a severely limited basis. Rodgers has completed 41-of-53 passes for 470 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions, but again, likely won’t see more than a series or two at the most.
The Packers will however, evaluate backups Matt Flynn and Graham Harrell and neither has looked very impressive so far this preseason.

Kansas City Chiefs (0-3 SU, 0-3 ATS, 1-2 O/U)
The Chiefs have lost seven straight preseason games under Haley and haven’t looked very competent in the process, which makes tonight’s contest a lot more meaningful for the Chiefs.
Kansas City didn’t play particularly bad in its last preseason contest despite failing to cover the NFL point spread as a 1.5-point home favorite in its 20-17 loss to Philadelphia on Friday.
The Chiefs are averaging a pitiful 14.0 points per contest while allowing 20.0 per game defensively.
NFL bettors can expect to see starting quarterback Matt Cassel for a 1-3 series tonight before he gives way to backup Brodie Croyle who hasn’t looked very good in completing just 53 percent of his passes while throwing one interception and no TD passes.
Analysis: I know the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be in near desperation mode tonight, but I still don’t see how they can cover the NFL handicapping lines over a Packers team that is light years ahead of them on both sides of the ball and could probably beat them with their backups alone.
I’m not impressed with either team’s backup quarterbacks and I just don’t see how the offensively-challenged Chiefs are going to outscore the Packers by the seven points it will take for them to cover the NFL point spread in this contest, even as 6-point home favorites.
I like the Green Bay Packers and the Under to play out against the NFL Lines in this one pro football gamblers.
Following tonight’s league-wide contests, all 32 NFL teams have until 6:00 PM ET on Saturday to get their regular season rosters pared down to the 53-player maximum.
The Packers open their 2010 regular season schedule at Philadelphia on Sun., Sept. 12th, while the Chiefs open their slate by hosting the San Diego Chargers the next night.
