Under center for the Buckeyes is Terrelle Pryor and he is an early favorite to win the Heisman. At 6’5 and 225 pounds, he’s a physical specimen with amazing athletic ability. Last season Pryor led the Buckeyes with 779 rushing yards and he threw for 2094 yards and 18 touchdowns.

It will be impossible for Marshall to contain Pryor but even if they slow him down a little, the Buckeyes offense isn’t just about Pryor.  They return 10 offensive starters from last year’s team that won the Rose Bowl and finished fifth in the nation. DeVier Posey and Dane Sanzenbacher are reminiscent of deep threat Ted Ginn Jr. and possession receiver Anthony Gonzalez from the 2006 team that challenged for the BCS title. They have a solid tandem of Brandon Saine and “Boom” Heron in the backfield. The player that could be huge for the Pryor this season is their new 6’5 tight end Jake Stoneburner.

Marshall has a new man in charge; Doc Holiday will be responsible for turning around the Thundering Herd’s offense that couldn’t score last season. Their Achilles heel in 2009 was their turnovers, that and their undisciplined play that resulted in too many free yards for their opponents. The Buckeyes don’t any favors.

The Buckeyes are talking about taking this season one game at a time but it will be hard for them to focus on the Thunder Herd and not look forward to Miami but this game will be a cakewalk for Ohio State.  The Buckeyes will win and for football betting purposes, they should win by 30 points. Grab the line before it moves to -30 and this game will be a winner.

NCAAF Betting Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes -28½
