Indianapolis, USA – As tennis betting continues on the Indianapolis Tennis Championships, there is plenty of action and excitement for online betting fans to look forward to at BetOnline Sportsbook. Here is a look at some of the exciting action scheduled for Wednesday’s menu and already available at BetOnline Sportsbook.
Tennis Betting Line: Taylor Dent -650 Marcos Daniel +375
Match Time: 04:00 P..M. Eastern Time Wednesday July 22, 2009
Tennis Betting Verdict: American Taylor Dent ranks No.210 in the world and he receives a wild card into this tournament. Dent was a promising junior talent whose tennis career was hampered by a back injury and even threatened to end it at one point. After having back surgery almost two years ago Dent’s return to the game is a feel good story His first tournament back was Brisbane at the start of the season where he reached the second round. He continued through the season with mixed (understandable) results. To date, his best performance was at Miami, wherein he pushed into the R16 (l. to Federer). For all the mixed results, his ranking improves from No.865 in the world (at the start of the year) to No. 21. He takes an 8-10 mark into his first round match on Wednesday against Marcos Daniel. The Argentine Daniel, weighs in at No. 118 and takes a 5-9 mark into this match.
It will be their first-ever career meeting. The bookies are confident Dent will advance into the second round, listing him at -650 favourite odds. This is in part to surface edge as Daniel is a clay courter predominantly.

Tennis Betting Line: Denis Istomin +200 John Isner -300
Match Time: 05:30 P.M. Eastern Time Wednesday July 22, 2009
Tennis Betting Verdict: American John Isner enjoyed a Cinderella run into the R16 at the Masters Series Indian Wells. He captured the American imagination at the time before bowing out to Juan Martin del Potro. Isner hopes to recreate some of the heroics he showed in the Californian desert here in Indianapolis. He is in a favourable corner of the draw and so he has a real shot. Isner is 9-6 on the season, which includes two quarterfinal appearances – Auckland and Houston.
Eighth seed Denis Istomin is listed as the underdog in this match in spite of receiving a seed in Indianapolis. The No.61 ranked Istomin is 10-8 on the season, which includes a third round appearance at the French Open and a quarterfinal run in Eastbourne. Istomin arrives in Indianapolis following a first round exit in Bastad, Sweden last week.
With home edge and surface edge Isner is the better play.
Tennis Betting Free Picks: Isner in three sets
