Tennis Betting Verdict: The matchup between Petra Kvitova and Kaia Kanepi is too close to call in my opinion. The market is leaning towards Petra Kvitova, for good reason, mind, for the victory, tipping her at -150 odds. The Czech is a big-hitter and has had some noteworthy victories already in her young career, such as taking out Dinara Safina at the US Open last year. There is a lot to recommend Kvitova on the outright win as well as the covering the spread at – 2 ½ -115. That said Kanepi is a tempting underdog at +110. She is priced well within the upset margin, which makes a victory by her less surprising than had she been tipped at larger odds. What this says is that she has the ability to win this match or at the very least lose by a close margin, + 2 ½ -125.
